Pleco With Patches On Skin

My gf pleco has big patches on him I can't tell if its his design or a sickness. He had it forever and don't act like anythings wrong with him. But the patches are not white but the patches almost look sank in as if he loosing scales. I'll post pics later

I picture is worth a thousand words. Any discoloration or altered behavior?

The spots are discolored and he don't act sick at all but the spots don't look right hold on I'm try figure out how to post a pic

That looks almost identical to my old male bristlenose... nothing wrong with it, just normal coloring.

Doesn't look harmful, he's just getting older. I wouldn't lose sleep over it .

Is that what kind he is a bristle nose? I bought him from Walmart he was only bout 3 inches now he is bout 7. Thanks for the advice
