my grandmother had a 48 gallon octogon tank with tons of neons in it.. it was very cool!

I vote for a shoal of checkerbord or snakeskin discus!

They would look like a orange and silver tornato if you accidently scared them, the neons grandma had.. it was a long time ago and she got the old common guppies so all the fish were the same color..

I really like my Zebra Danios and Glow Light tetras, especially the Glow Lights since there eyes and the spine are that cool bright florescent orange.

There are are so many! It'd probably have to be a tetra...
Black Phantom tetras are neat (Not that colorful though.) So are Red tail mirror blue's..

I'm gonna say it has to be the classic Neon though

zebra danios school very well
in fact they are VERY TIGHT !!

they "follow your finger"
i love when fish do that

I have a nice group of Bloodfin tetras, they spend the day as a school playing in the filter outflow, or they chase eachother around the tank in a single file line.

Though my neons look nice a school, they really only form up when scared. They mostly just do thier own thing all day. The Bloodfins however, spend most of thier time in a school.
