Hello all, I was wondering if the location of the end of the pick-up tube on a power filter matters? Near bottom, middle of tank, or near top of tank? Any thoughts? Thanks......

Hello, bout 4 in from the bottom gravel seems to be a good place. Usually it's a good idea to keep the input as far away from the output as possible, depending on your filter ofcourse.
It also keeps from your filter circulating the same water over and over.
