Quick ID on a red growing coral

No clue what this is, haven't added any coral in over a year, all of a sudden this popped up and is spreading like wild fire.

I've recently, after years, just had some crop up in my tank as well. I believe it is because I no longer have a tang in the tank. I think it is Scinaia complanata, a red macro algae from the Atlantic.
 
I'm sure they would Cmor. lol
Bearfan, I should also mention that this stuff has taken to growing on my hydor pumps. It seems to really like high water flow. Just a heads up. :)
