I was thinking of just putting some rubble rock in my sump to add a little bio filtration. I won't have any lighting for it so I was wondering if it would even do any good without being lit.
I fecently replaced all of my bio-balls with LR rubble in my sump. It has helped keep my nitrates in check. I have 30 lbs of LR rubble in my sump now. I have a couple pics in my gallery of it if you are interested. I say go for it...Lando
Sounds good, but do not replace it all at once. Maybe 25% at a time. Make sure the LR rubble is fully cured before adding it to your sump. Good luck...Lando
