There is also the option of getting a cheaper unit if you are unsure how long you will be in the hobby. If you think you might not be using an ro/di in a year then maybe the cheaper options are your best bet. But keep in mind, if you get addicted to saltwater like we all do you may have 10 tanks by next year and will NEED the bigger better unit. lol

Lol no I might as well get a bigger unit because I'm a fish fanatic and will be doing it the rest of my life . Keeps me calm and occupied .
