RIP CT betta

Much to my horror and suprise my CT betta was discovered dead today in the 29 gal. He was fine yesterday. I suspect foul play as there was nothing at all left to his fins. His tank mates are apistogrammas, cory cats and a dojo loach, horseface loach and a gold nugget pleco. He has been with all these fish for several months. I am thinking it was the gold nugget pleco as they can get aggressive at times.

Aw crap. I'm sorry you lost him. They have such distinct personalities-it's hard to lose a betta.

Thanks everyone, he was the happiest betta I've ever had. I think it was the 29 gals of room. He was taken out of one of those dinky cups. Every time I went to the tank, he swam up to greet me. Although I do believe he was just begging for food. LOL

yea, i take what i said back. at least you saved him from those disgusting cup things and gave him apparently a very nice home.
