I last week for my birthday I got a 135 gallon tank. I have other tanks one used with pool sand and the other with play sand.
I used decided to use the play sand in this tank Because I thought it looked better, although it is a lot finer. On Tuesday I rinsed the sand and put it in the tank after the water. The water has cleared up but is still so sandy that you can't see the back side of the tank. I have cleaned the filter (i have a sump) once or twice every day.
How can I clear this water without having to buy a different type of sand?
Thanks

Seachem Clarity worked for me with sand clouds. Double dosed it once and the next day it's crystal clear. After the water clears but before you add the rest of your stuff to the tank take a gravel vac and carefully siphon off the stuff that settles on the top of the sand or the stuff that the Clarity settles out will just sit on top and make dusty clouds every time it's disturbed.
