I was just wondering if I can set up a bubble wall in my fish tank even tho I will be using sand as the substrate. Or will it disturb the sand too much and constantly make particles float?

I was thinking of burying it under the sand.

I tried that but it just comes back up over time. What I did to hide it/make it look cool was get a long piece of driftwood, drill a hole right down the centre (without splitting it lol) then loads of tiny holes through the top then place your air stone down the centre. Worked like a charm :)

I have two 10" walls on the side of my tank under the sand, no problems. I suction cupped them to the bottom glass then covered with sand. They don't come up, and don't stir anything up.
