Wolverine is mad at me cause I put him in a little tank while I fix his filter that he decided would look better if it was broke... He somehow got a rock into the under gravel filter and it ripped a hole in the tubing.....

Looks like a cool set up. What kind of tank do you have this guy in?

He's living in a heated, filtered, and planted 2.5 gallon bowl. The temp stays right at 80.

He's one of my rescues, he was pretty banged up when I got him. His fins are kinda torn too, any advice that will help repair them or at least him a tad healthier?
 
Torn fins are best treated naturally with warm, clean water. Maybe increase your water changes and make sure he has a steady temp and good, nutritious diet.

Do not use melafix. It coats the surface of the water and can cause damage to the labyrinth organ that the betta needs to draw oxygen from the air.

Good for you for picking him up. I'm sure with a little TLC he will be just fine!
