This is a throwback pic to my first tank many, many years ago. It was a 29g, set up in our townhouse so the front was seen in the living room, the back in the kitchen. I worked crazy hours at a grocery store....3am one morning/night I saw this and thought the poor thing was dead. Turned out he/she just liked sleeping there. They've been one of my favorite fish ever since :flowers:

Kuhli, this was back before digital cameras :hide:

My best 1st fish was a golden weather loach. I also thought that he was dead multiple times. His name was Dyson (after the vacuum).

My dojo. I talk about him a lot because he is just the best fish you could ask for! Always active, kisses my hand whenever it's in the tank, never bothers the other fish, vibrant color. Yeah the rope fish, Raphael and dojo were squaring off that day :p

16 gallon vampire shrimp, green lace shrimp and snails.
 
Thank you! He is my baby! I tell my husband that if I have to choose between my Dragon and my dog...that I pick Dragon! I have had him 7 years! Lol!

Me too! Yes oddballs often catch a bad rep for being difficult to keep but I disagree!

I agree, I think there's nothing better than a cool looking fish in your tank.
