I may redo my angel tank with live plants. And the time is right because I just noticed a small leak. It explains the frequent topoffs :(

Well the leak has been there all along I just didn't know it. I have to topoff this tank like crazy and I thought it was the light just evaporating it away.

While not "heavily planted" yet it's coming along pretty well I think. I'm hoping my swords fill in more and the wisteria on the left has really started growing so that should fill in alot more too. New growth is coming from the bottom of the plants! I need to get a good low tech low/medium light carpeting plant for the foreground since my micro sword refuses to grow.

This is cool. And the background you picked works in well.

Thanks!! The reverse side of the backround is an ocean scene. I tried it out once but I couldn't stand it. It just did not fit the look I was going for.

That looks really good. I like the driftwood and the tall piece with holes in it. Is that wood or rock? It's so cool!

Cheers. I have a few more hygrophila difformis coming to fill the back out behind the tall driftwood. The tall piece is wood yes and on the left is a dragon stone cave I made with some Xmas moss on it which I am hoping spread :)

I have the same background so I know what you mean. The blue is behind my fake freshwater reef tank. I may swap it because like you, I'm not a big fan of that blue wave look anymore.

Discus!

Wow, some stunning tanks in this thread!

Currently, my only FW tank is my 12 gallon long Iwagumi and it is still growing in:
