Starting a breeding tank

I want to get a 10 gallon soon so I can setup a tank with either platys or guppies only and get a good amount of fry so I can feed my cichlids healthy feeders. What would you stick to get the most fry possible. Is their anything I can do to make them produce the most fry possible?

Endler's livebearers are a good bet, they don't eat their fry.

Sorry to say there is nothing you can give them that will produce "more" fry. A healthy diet, clean water and recommended temperature is about all you can do.

That works any foods out there that really get them in the mood hahaha or make them more fertile.

Live foods can condition the pair and make them more inclined to breed. I think a pair of guppies could breed in there. They would produce more fry than the endlers
