stingray problems

our stingray "got beat up" maybe open wonds? im not sure it has chunk missing, and maybe some cuts.
there is no rcoks in the tank just fine sand.
can anyone help tell me what to do with treating him? thanks

What species of stingray? I also hope it is in a very large tank...

You need to make sure if there are chunks missing or not. Is it bleeding out? Perform extra water changes, add carbon, and give it some alone time as it is most likely stressed. What else is in the tank? How did it injure itself? If there are deep lacerations a nitrofurazone bath could be in order or create a paste from it. Depending on what else is in the tank, you can add salt and raise to 1ppt initially, no more than 3ppt-5ppt as long-term treatment.

it was a columbian ray. it didnt make. we tried to treat it in a seperate tank but it was a loss. the tank is large. thank you for your help
