Yes, I mix 4DKH solution with 5 drops of pH (low) solution from my API master test kit. Also, how long should I have the co2 on before I see a color change on the drop checker?

it can take a few minutes up to an hour or so from what I've seen. I would give it a few hours just to be safe though, it's not going to hurt anything by having a low co2 concentration, but having too much obviously will.
