Striped peacock eel

I have a regular phone I'll see what I can do tomorrow. I can quite a busy day today otherwise I would be all over it. A quick question too. So if he is partially dug in, except for his head protruding from the sand, is that okay to feed him or should I wait till he is totally above the substrate?

Oh im sure he will eat whenever, but i prefer to do it later at night when he is more active then the other fish dont worry, my eel loves to dig as well

He is in the sand every time I'm around my tank, so pictures have yet to happen. Also I don't know if he's eating either.
