Tankmates

I have a Betta in a 5.5 gallon. Potential tankmates?

A snail. Not one the size an apple.

You could go for netrite snails (i think that is how u spell it). Personally I love my zebra netrite snails. They are always moving and eating algae off the glass. Other than that your kinda limited.

If you do go with an Nerite snail, make sure you supplent it's feeding. You could try a few ghost shrimps, also.

I have a mystery snail with mine, love it. That snail is always on the move & my Betta could care less about him.

I forgot about the shrimp but yes they would work; my betta didn't mind red cherry shrimp but that is not always the case. Also my snails love algae waffer, cucumbers, and zucchini.
