Tetra question

Well, those are certainly black tetras or black widow tetras. Definitely try getting some mates for them, so they can focus their attention on each other, and they will be happier. If it is possible for you to tell when you get them, try to get more females than males.


Going today to get them some mates....hope that helps
 
Now that I think about it, when my serpaes were in quarrantine they were nippy as anything, and behaved much like a small group of tiger barbs. I added to the group for a total of 7 and things calmed down considerably, even though that was kind of crowded in the 10-gal q-tank.
