Treasure chest tank!

He seems to have calmed down a bit. I took a picture and I noticed he has some red on his gills. Natural color or is this ammonia burn I have been reading about?

He gorgeous even though I have to give him back soon.

So my 23g tank finally cycled and I was brainstorming ideas for the theme.

I came up with sunken ship, with some ghost shrimp, and ghost catfish. Those two are the only two ghost fish I know of.

Does anyone else know of any more or maybe some sunken ship themed fish ideas.

Very cool tank! Why don't you add some black ghost knife fish, and some blind cave tetras. The tetras can be like pirate souls or something and the black ghost knife fish look very shade like with how they swim

Great idea except black knife ghost fish need 150 gallons. And can grow to almost the length of that tank.

Would be a waste having to rehome the ghost knifes.

I got this chest from my fiancées dad who didn't use it. I don't know where he got it from. It's got a lot of problems because it wasn't taken care of in the beginning.

As far as I know it's real. It's old and rotted and when I get money I'm going to have a professional restore it.

Finally found a guy who had a sunken ship that I wanted.
