Long white thingy comin out from yhe coral?!!?

Hard to say. I have some a type of sponge that does that and looks very similar. It could be a type of worm though. Does is move in its own?

Looks like a spaghetti worm. If it is it's harmless.

It goes straight up. Usually does not move, ocassional swaying only

Is it part of the coral? Maybe sweeper tentacles

Possibly. Does it have a base to it??

It appears to come out from the back and bottom of the coral
It is on a peg type base

Probably a spaghetti worm or some kind of tube worm. You should be OK with it.

It does appear to be some sort of extension of the coral. It does not move though and there is another coral nearby. Hmmmm
It does not act like any worm... no movement & it reaches up to the top and back of the tank not down toward the sand
