Veggie Prep for Crayfish

Hi all, I'm new to Crayfish and just had a question i couldn't find the answer to elsewhere. I know they are scavengers and will eat just about anything but i was wanting to feed it veggies every once in awhile but not sure what prep to take. I hear people just dropping frozen peas in, but what about potatoes? I hear people feed potatoes but don't know if it can be done raw, or do you need to prep it I'm some way? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't do potatoes, just blanch some zucchini.
