Water Lettuce + Flow

If I put some water lettuce in a small 200-300g pond, will it survive with high current? I put a floating ducky in the pond, and it floated all over the surface.

Edit: do you guys ever get these plants clogged at your filter intake?
 
They will survive, as long as the current isn't so strong that it's ripping apart the roots. They could spread enough that they won't even move in the current. And yes, make sure your intake is well protected from them. I've heard of stores selling Water hiacynth as water lettuce too, which is even worse for roots.
