Water movement - Vortech pumps

I've been looking at getting one of the vortech pumps from Ecotech Marine and was wondering if anyone has experience with it? Not that I get a lot of power outages but everything I've read says that water movement is the most important thing during a power outage. I know the vortech's have a battery backup so I'm thinking this might be the best way to go both with power on and power off.

Just wondering people's experience, good and bad with them. Thanks...

You can always add a ups for a powerhead or two and a heater.

The Vortechs seem to get very high marks from those who have them.
