water supply delema

i was useing rain water to fill my tanks and i had to tip it out to use the cage for something else, now i have no water to fill the tanks with except tap water, should i just cure the tap water or wait till it rains?

P.S Australia is in a drought, it wont rain for a while

tap water with dechlor will be fine...

isnt it that rain water is too pure, and contains not enough trace minerals? Not that tap water has alot more, but more than rain water. Are you aware of this and it still works for you? Or you have just plants?? I'm curious...

it works fine, my water is perfect and have never had any troubles
