Hello I bought a group of 6 fish from respected shop locally and they were labelled as hara white top. I thought I was getting cynotilapia white top hara but got home and there seems to be multiple fish sold as white top hara like metriaclima pulpican etc. I've looked at mine and the online photos and they don't really loo like anything I have seen and they keep changing their color blue to gray then white, and their barring! They're fast sob's so pics are tough but I attached a couple. Barring on the one in pic one and two looks nothing like the rest of group

Those look like Cynotilapia to me. The fishes color will fluctuate for a few days while they adjust to their new homes, that's most likely why they are a little more pale and have the barring.

They look like kenyis to me!

The body shape, barring and fin colors aren't even close to a Kenyi.

I'm starting to think its not a Cynotilapia sp. "hara" however due to the yellow in the fins. I believe it's one of the other Cynotilapia color variants, or Metriaclima sp. "elongatus chewere".
