can i use normal conditioned tap water for discus if i have a good filtration system ?

You can buy an hma filter. Everybody I personally know that keep discus use either hma filters for their water or RO water. I'm not sure about using tap. Also every municipality is diff. Depending on whether you've got well water or city water. I know of at least one member that uses hma. Ill find his SN he could help you more with that than ill be able to.
