What species pleco is this?

Pubby is a cold water pleco, about 6 years old & about 20cm long. I have no clue about what species he is because I inherited the tank & wasn't told anything about him. Any suggestions welcome

He does have a big dorsal fin, but he never displays it & it's hard to get a picture of it
