They all start blue and the males transform to yellow.

I have had it for about 3 months or more if it's a male at what age do they Change color then when I vented it looked female to me

And how can you tel it's a male just by looking at it if they all are blue when they are born

Is the fish in the picture yours? Maybe it's the lighting in the picture on my phone but looks to be yellow tinged to me.They very much vary in size as to when they colour up.In my experience the more dominant males colour up the soonest.

If it starts blue then turns yellow then its a male, that fish appears to be turning yellow.
