I have started the fish less cycle a few days ago and today I have notice the appearance of some white algae or something in my rocks and in the roots of my Anubia.

I'm attaching a photo. Can somebody tell me what that is or if it is good or bad for my aquarium or more important, my plant?

Thanks!!

Could be the start of a typical new tank algae bloom. If it is, once the tank cycles and the water chemistry balances out, the algae usually disappears. It usually won't hurt your plants.
Another possibility is mineral particles, depending on your water source. Either way probably nothing to worry about.

I had the same thing, my water looked cloudy and I left the light off for a little longer and it cleared up. I haven't done a water change yet because it's just my plant and I don't really have the supplies. I'm probably gonna have to run to the dollar store for some bins and such
