Hey guys,

Recently i've noticed one Discus having big white spots on both it's sides, another one may have smaller ones aswell but i can't tell if it's by design or not.

I should also state the filter it would seem stopped working (Not my tank, so only noticed when i went to do the w/c today) for a few days and due to this the water had 0.25 Ammonia, Nitrites were at 0, Nitrate's at around 20 (Before water change), filters up and running again now after changing the plug fuse, thankfully.

The heater also broke last week, luckily the room temp was always kept at 25C so it wasn't fatal, got the new heater and i'll be turning it back up to 28 bit by bit.

I'm hoping that once the water conditions are back to where they should be the spots will go away however i don't want to take any chances and want to see if someone has had a similar experience before with these types of spots and what they are, the first pic is of the one with the big spots, second one it seems to have small ones on the bottom of it's side and one near/on the gill, can't tell if that's just by design or not, any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
