Discus with white spots

I am new here. Joe sr, I have discus fish. My wild discus keeps getting white spots. They seem to come and go . Any advice ? Thank you

Does it look like ich? Can you provide a photo of an infected fish?

Wild discus were notorious for getting ICK from the stress in shipping but a picture would definitely help confirm that it's ick and not something else. The ICK parasite has multiple life stages on and off the fish so just because the fish had spots on say Monday, but not on Wednesday, does not mean the parasite is gone. It's just in the reproductive stage off the fish. That can explain why your fish's spots come and go. Will check back when you post a pic.
