Should I wait for ammonia and nitrites to both hit 0 then dose more ammonia?

I would wait for ammo to hit 0 before dosing again and just wait the nitrites out. That's the long part

Quick update, Nitrites and Ammonia are holding steady. Nitrates have yet to show their little faces

These driftwood piece I have will help you a bunch too. They have been in my established tank for 6 months and have plenty of bb on them as well

It really is but you will appreciate it in the end not having to catch goldfish and rush new disease being introduced into your tank!!! Ich sucks BTW!!!
