so your saying as long as i squeeze out any gunk from my old filters ill be good ?? and not have to worry about keeping the other filters or filter cartriges in there??

Take the actual filter cartridge with the gunk on it, and place it in your new filter behind the new cartridge.(there's a spot for that isn't there?) If it doesn't all fit, put the bio sponge right in the tank and squeeze it out over your bio wheel from Time to time. any sludge at the bottom of the old filter could be poured into the new one.

Was the paradise fish being a lunatic? Sorry I suggested them. Hopefully you can take it back if it doesn't work.

no he not picking at them he leaves them alone they just slow and kinda skiddish but is that just cause new tank?? and i could only get four ill be getting 4 more later

Hopefully since they are on the bottom and don't have frilly tails, he'll continue to leave them alone. Most cories I've seen sit there a lot with brief bursts of movement. Do they seem lethargic or breathing hard? If not, I wouldn't worry. I'm sure when they adjust, they will get more playful. Make sure there are plenty of hiding spots.

here is some pics lol i know yall been waiting

Looks great! Love those fish! The cories are very cute. Lethargic means lacking energy or listless. As long as they seem active that's good.

yea they look fine they just kinda laying there resting i guess one of them was photogenic but the rest was not exept my paradise fish he love to be seen
