One could argue that color morphs do play a role in the genes that also affect temperament, like in the case of the electric blue rocio octofasciata (jack Dempsey)

Hasn't been my experience, but sure, the argument could be made.

Very possible. I picked them up at an auction, you never really know what you're gonna find! :)

Nice, I don't know much about GCCA other than it's one of the biggest (and best) clubs in the country. :)

Down here, the Atlanta club is where it's at. :D

Well, open up as much space as you possibly can! You won't be sorry! :p

Last Atlanta auction I picked up a 4 pack of F1 Krobia xinguensis... and we aren't even explicitly a cichlid club! :D

Thinking about setting up a ten gallon in my room. Planning on stocking it with some apistogramma and cories, anyone know a good type?

Thanks that's what I figured. I think that some rams and maybe some dwarf cory cats would be a nice tank. Just want a simple, peaceful tank. TCC, what do you think? If it would work, how many would you add?
I absolutely love Shell Dwellers and they can easily live in a small tank. They can be expensive, and most aren't very colorful but they are gorgeous none the less.

And is it ok to keep them in ph of 7.6? Or should i use a ph buffer?

Always match the fish to your natural PH, not the other way around. Modifying PH can become a hastle and often times, if you screw up, will kill your fish. That being said, 7.6 should be alright.
