Hey guys/gals...I am ready to retire..but at 36 I just don't see I yet...Any way...Thanks for the compliments on the tank and lighting suggestions...I really want to make a good choice here... granted the duel( is it duel or dual..?..ha..) Sat+ did great on the 36 but it was only 15" wide at the widest spot.. I like to have options and be able to pink or red up any plants I decide to get like sk3llys tank and a lot of you other guys. I think a lot of the color has to do with good co2 and ferts mostly..maybe..? Anyway you guys got to hit me up on some of your trimmings in the near future.. but anyway I think I will sit back and study on maybe 2 more Sat+ to add to what I got ..hummmm....

I don't know what im goin to do..its driving me nuts over here..plus on top of that Im still trying to get my co2 dialed in like you guys are doin.. I built one of those rex grigg reactors but it seems like I am just chugging the co2...of course it is a 75 ..DC is green I think. I am not sure if I put to many drops in the 4dkh fluid but its kinda hard to read.. I also got one of those fluval co2 indicator do-hickies..it don't turn hardly at all...I just keep bumping it up though... Ill take you up on that offer here before long B...got to get my lighting up to " PAR" first.....
 
So what's on your short list? Sat+ vs E-Series? Is a black BML still in the mix?

They are a specific few, I tried some ludwigia on my 36 but it never turned red...I am not sure it was red though. Looked more like ludwigia atlantis cause the leaves were quite large...the underside was pinlish but never red. However I didn't have Pressurized co2 at the time either

Oh no you didn't..ow ow..your really twisting hard lol..awesome thanks for the coupon..I would like to see how one lights up a 75. I have wore google out looking for a pic of an e-series on a big tank...no luck or I really over looked it...bml still in the mix I just wish their super controller wasn't 110 smackaroos...

Yeah that is a lot of moolah! That's why I like my smaller tanks, the bite isn't as bad. But maybe you can grow a whole lot more plants and eventually sell enough in the classifieds to pay yourself back on the investment? Or sell some other unused stuff on eBay. Anyways, your tanks look great so far so I think whatever choice you make, you'll make it look good.

Thanks man..I am not a professional aquascaper like a lot of you guys are... "but I did stay at a holiday in last night".......
 
Nice set up. I'd like to get a 75 gal in the next year or so, so I'll be paying attention to what you're doing with all your lighting. I've got an e-series on my 29 gal right now. I love the integrated timer and moonlight option. You're definitely right, sat+ vs e-series is a very large difference in cost!

Im gonna get the E series..I guess..I think it will open up my plant selection. Plus I will have The 2 24" sat+ still there. It will be a couple of weeks before I am able to pull the trigger...bills got to come first...dang it... I will keep you guys in the loop for sure, once I get it..Any way I got another small issue...filtration..i was going to pair my eheim pro 3 2075 with my awesome AC70 but it wont fit all the way over the lip. So I was thinking either a sunsun canister or AC110..what do you guys think...
