Actually, it does solve the problem. I know people who had a Cichlid that ate one of their most prized, loved fishes. In anger, they took the cichlid out and threw it out of their high rise window(12 stories high).

Dont know if this is related, but I think that my largest comet has an endoparasite because red welts pop up one at a time that each have a central tubercle. Fish behaves ok also! The pooop has a swirly interior and a regular transparent outer layer. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks if...

I may have mentioned this before, but my comets (goldfish) are nothing but pooping machines. I've never seen such thick, long, yellow massive ropes of fecal matter coming out of a fish before. :drain: Is this normal? Its often embarrassing when friends come over and theres these disgusting...

I was in a fish store today and was looking at these really beautiful mollies--Very handsome, I must say. I noticed that some were mating. To my amazement, I saw a male molly trying to put its ramrod in another male!!! 8O I wanted to ask the fish guy if this manouevre was common in mollies...

That's great. I knew he would be ok. Those plecos can survive a goldfish *beep*-storm. (They don't eat the *beep*, of course). Get yourself some Hikari algae tablets. They go crazy over them:) Take care!

Thank you guys! Its nice to have you give me advice with the past in mind. I usually feed goldfish 2x a day with Hikari gold baby pellets. The plecs I also feed 2x with Hikari algae tabs (2 per day per plec). I will try feeding only once as you guys suggest. Perhaps that's why my AC 300...

I had a cute little animated pleco that did this. I even saw him regurgitate something and then later that day, he passed. I was heartbroken. :oops:

There now is another lesion adjacent to the caudal fin with a central translucent, worm-like projection that seemed to pop recently. The other lesion healed near the gill and is now coming back. Please help!

Last night something was sticking out of the middle about 2 mm long. I took the Comet out with my hand and rubbed it off with a cotton swab and then added h2o2 and tossed him back in. It looks better, but I hope it goes away...
