Thanks,

I only have one fern the 10 planted, but glad I got it (its a lace java fern, looks nice).

The betta wss kinda turning around when I took the pic so you cant see the image of him. I never really seen him flare before, maybe once or twice, but that was when I firsf got him.

I was thinking about making it slightly planted, but I would still be keepin the fake plants in there......idk.

well whatever you will do with it, i would say you will do a great job...your other tank proves it. :)

got any female betta yet?

As a matter of fact, I was fixing to mention that. Well today (around 8pm), I went to a local petco and gotten a Male Opligue DT betta. Absolutely gorgeous. He is liking his new home already!

Oh and just an update for the 10 gallon planted, I went and got some Seachem Flourish Tabs. Going to put 1-2 in right now.

good job...can't wait to see how that little Male Opligue DT betta looks like in his new home...:)

and oh, your plants will be more happy with the tabs...please keep us updated on how it looks like...:)

Pics.

Getting new camera for my birthday! Now I dont have to use my phone. Hopefully I will get one of those motion cameras.

Yeah, Havent updated in a little while because nothing has really changed. The only problem I have now is the pond snails (Really, I dont mind them, But I know soon I will. <- Hint hint, I put in an algae wafer for the nerite snail, but thats going to make the pond snail population grow).

I am considering adding an assassin snail, but Not just yet.

All plants are doing fine (Crypts growing bigger every day, Fern growing new spouts, anubias still growing, and sword doing alright).

mine are still here...I was gonna get an assassin snail for each of my tank that has snails but severum suggested I finished my cycling first, which might be a good idea.

Hey guys, its been awhile, but heres some updates:

I have re-designed the look of my 10 gallon. Took out the Rosette sword (Was not growing much any more. Root tabs weren't really helping). Added an assassin snail (Hasn't really affected the snail population yet). Found some java moss and its growing wonderfully.

As of now I have (Plant wise):
2 Cryptocoryne Spiralis
5 Cryptocoryne Wentii, Green
1 Cryptocoryne Wentii, Long-stem, Green
1 Lace java fern
1 small piece of Java moss

Basically my tank is almost a crypt tank. I do plan on adding some Dwarf Sag (Sagittaria Subulata) and maybe a few more Cryptocorynes.
