*Update*

Came home today with a Lace java fern, One of the long stem/leaf crypts, (not sure what its called.) and a small nerite snail (started eating right away). I will get pics sometime after the snail eats all the algae.

*Update*

The small nerite is working on the diatoms, but not quite there yet. As of now, he is resting under a leaf, guess the diatoms won this fight........for now.

Oh, and I was wrong about the killis name. I didn't get a pair of orange Australian killis (no such thing), but a pair of Orange Australe killis. Guess I read the label wrong.......sry Jason.

Its my other 10 gallon (just got it last sunday).

Its a divided betta tank, currently it only houses a Blue/Red HM Male betta (Female that was on the other side jump out through a hole and died :(, but I fixed that problem). I soon hope to get a new female

Oh wow cool...I'd love to see a FTS on it...

Okay, I could never understand how bettas multiplies if the male and female can't be together in one area. :-D

and my condolence with your female betta dying. my only one male died too last sunday. :-( so I am thinking of getting at least another one to be in my 5G once it is done cycling.

I try and post it on here tomorrow from my phone (I have really bad reception out here, but when Im on the road, it works great!)

When It comes time for the bettas to mate, the male will make a bubble nest and is ready to spawn I believe (not really into breeding bettas).

Thanks. My condolences for yours too.

oh thank you...it's okay. it doesn't have to be as soon as possible. whenever you feel like it is okay.

and thank you for explaining that mating part. I am not into breeding also. Was just wondering why they can't be in one area and how they can multiply...LOL.
