Just for the fun of it, I will show all of you what my 30 gallons looks like (dont feel like makin separate thread). I took this a week ago and the only difference is that the lutea (in bottom right corner) is gone one cory died (which you cant tell though)
Came home today with a Lace java fern, One of the long stem/leaf crypts, (not sure what its called.) and a small nerite snail (started eating right away). I will get pics sometime after the snail eats all the algae.
The small nerite is working on the diatoms, but not quite there yet. As of now, he is resting under a leaf, guess the diatoms won this fight........for now.
Oh, and I was wrong about the killis name. I didn't get a pair of orange Australian killis (no such thing), but a pair of Orange Australe killis. Guess I read the label wrong.......sry Jason.
Its a divided betta tank, currently it only houses a Blue/Red HM Male betta (Female that was on the other side jump out through a hole and died , but I fixed that problem). I soon hope to get a new female
and my condolence with your female betta dying. my only one male died too last sunday. :-( so I am thinking of getting at least another one to be in my 5G once it is done cycling.
oh thank you...it's okay. it doesn't have to be as soon as possible. whenever you feel like it is okay.
and thank you for explaining that mating part. I am not into breeding also. Was just wondering why they can't be in one area and how they can multiply...LOL.
and your betta is very beautiful too....are you thinking of making the tank planted later on? they are so nice to look at right now but was just wondering if you plan on making it planted...
