What are you studying?

Phew! Just tested my ammonia after 2 hours. It's, I'd say, probably a little over 4.0 ppm but far closer to 4.0 ppm than 8 ppm. Phew.

I think I'll leave it there for now.

I'm studying Religion and Philosophy. Gonna start learning Koine Greek next semester.

you could take your moms filter and run it on your tank this will jump start your cycle or just take out filter media and jam it in your filter. seeding from an established tank makes the cycle fly by once i had one tank cycled i seed off of it and all my others were done in a week

I know my LFS will give seeded media out of their tanks to help jump start peoples cycles. I'd look into that.

My mom's isn't established. It's less-established than mine.

We're hopefully going to The Wet Spot this weekend. If not, next week.

Someone has volunteered (extremely nicely!) to send me some hornwort for free if I'd like it...I'm probably going to say yes. And let my Mom wonder how some magical plant randomly appeared in my aquarium.

I think thats one of the easier ones that just need water and light, feeds more from the water than its roots. How to grow and decorate with hornwort, Ceratophyllum, with pictures
