My 125 gal. half round tank finally arrived. 
It's set up and the filter has been running since last night. I have some extra media stuffed in my 10 gal. penguin filter that I want to put into the FX5, and then add a few fish to get started. I didn't want to put the media in til I am ready to put the fish in so that the bb won't die. Does it matter what basket I put the used media in? The top has pre filter in it. The middle has biomax and a blue fine filter pad and the bottom has only biomax.
Also, I have purigen but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to put that in while the tank is cycling. If it is ok to put it in now, what basket does that go in?
