This could be a long shot but you might try adding a little bit of an ammonia source to try and jump statement BB

I'll toss a damsel in the tank or something and see what happens. I have one in my qt tank to keep it cycled. I can pull him out if the ammonia gets to toxic. I can always also do water changes.

what kind of tank is that? I really want to have a little micro salt tank. I was looking at the 3.75g and 5.5g tanks at petsmart. biocube or whatever the other company is. Also as much advice you have would help :) hope your shrimp do well.

It's an evolve 4. Only advice I have is you must have a refractometer and the patients to top the tank of twice a day. Also replace the light regardless if you want corals or not. It's just not the right color or brightness for saltwater imo

Updates: Corals are looking good right now.

the "new" rock scape, Been like this for a few days. The water has tested without ammonia for the last 3 days i think.

they are interesting little things, they ahve been hosting a whole bunch of corals i think trying to find the one each of them like. The small female is enjoying the duncan very much, Im not sure where the larger female is havent seen her for a few hours. the male is on the coral that is in the pictures (not sure what it is)

so in the back of the tank behind the wall in the what ill call "Sump". Currently there is a bit of filter media in it that comes with the tank. I am thinking there could be better things to put in the sump. what are some thoughts of what you would put in the tank? Im thinking a bag of carbon/GFO. Are there better ideas?

I already have a female carrying eggs! the male has now moved onto the other female and shes hanging out all alone.

Here are some updated pictures.
