The thing you need to keep in mind is that your fish GROW. Bala's grow to 14"-16"

Cpd are cool. Coursair has had them. Its on my fish bucket list. Chilis are my favorite.

I just think platy too much for a 10g thats me. Others will disagree

I like big groups of fish id rather have 5 guppies than a mix. Or 8 cpd. But to each there own.

Idk how much plant mass your talking about. A 10 is small. Ideally youll have alot of plant material yet some open space for swimming. Scapeing like that is a little challenging. So think about that too.
