I am going to be moving my 20 gallon long to my parents house in a couple weeks, it is fully stocked, my parents have a betta fish in a bowl that they have had for a while. I don't think it would work to add the betta to my tank, but I thought I would ask to see if anyone thought it would be worth trying. And the aqadvisor says it would be 99% stocked with the betta.

I have a male betta in one community tank, and I have had no problems whatsoever. But I've heard that some people do. Just watch the tank for a while if you do decide to do it. Be ready to put it back in the bowl just incase things get out of hand.
