Do black mollies lay eggs or is it live birth?

Molly's are live bearers. Meaning they have free swimming fry!

Do you have any other fish. I believe I read somewhere that a tablespoon of aquarium salt per gallon is recommended for them to be their healthiest.

How can you prep for them to have babies? I have the Molly in a separate tank and I cover it with a towel because I read that if its dark that it helps them give birth easily

If she's pregnant which I'm sure you can tell. Then I believe she should just do it on her own but maybe good foods will help her along. I guess you could feed high quality or meaty food ie bloodworms to help her recover afterwords?
