The title of this thread says it all.
My snail was all the way to the top of a 55 gallon when it slid off, and bounced off a large rock decor at the bottom. Can these impacts break his shell and lead to death?
Can Mystery Snail fall off glass and break on decorations?

I wouldn't think it could descend fast enough to crack a shell.
One of my snails was riding a power head the other day, and flipped off into the stream. Didn't hurt the snail as far as I could tell.
Every once in a while, my snails will let go of the glass and float down the 27" depth of my 150. It is as though they know it's a quick way to get around.
