Yeah, the nitrate reading is light at 5, darker at 10, and lighter again at 20. Very weird; its hard to tell.

Yes haha its a mystery to me too. I doses on the 11th and saw trites 12 hours later. No trites in tap either

I'm not sure. I tested my established tank and it is all clear except trites
