Nice like the fins on him a lot.
Or viejita red neckAny help I.D.ing my new dwarf cichlids ?? I bought a pair so I have a male and a female the one in the picture is the male or female ? And what are the chances of these two breeding ? Thanks in advance !
Depends on the species!!!!!
That was quick IMO
Quick ??? How many Apistogramma cacatuoides could go in a 20 long and if possible what ratio m to f ?
Trio (1M:2F) at most IMO, but you can do a M/F pair if you want.

No problem. I've kept a proven trio of cacatuoides in a 20 high and to be honest, I would not recommend it. There was more aggression than I expected, and most of it was the females! Female Apistogramma, IME, are often much more aggressive than the males. I think a 20 long is better suited to a trio.
Noticed the fins as well, guessing he was with other males? His colors will fill in nicely once he warms up to the tankAgree with panduro ID. His fins need a little bit of TLC, but most importantly, he is nice and fat! He looks like a real nice fish. Any pics of his lady friend?
They will kick the crap out of them IMO
