I want to know what some peoples views are on the Marineland Multistage Canister Filter c220 for a 36 gal planted tank. Pros cons ect...

I have a Marineland C220 in my tank and am generally happy with it. I can't really compare it to the other canisters out there because I've never owned any of them.

The priming pump is a nice feature, and there's also a lever that stops the siphon making it relatively easy to service the canister itself.

One drawback is that I don't think it's all that easy to change the outflow (e.g. attach a spray bar, for example, if that's the direction you want to go).

Again, all in all I am happy with it, but I don't have any experience with any other canisters to compare it to.
