2nd pic wont show for me but that is definetly an asian not an african. Very aggressive. It will probably be difficult to find tankmates.

Thanks! I hadn't heard of an Asian before you mentioned it, but the temperament and size definitely fit with it better than the African. I got him with the tank around Thanksgiving and he was right around 4". He's not just over 8"!

I'm thinking of adding 2 more pictus cats and maybe try some cichlids with him. Nervous, but hopeful

That knife is crazy compared to mine holy crap lol

He's definitely a handful! But he's soooo cool. My husband wanted me to get rid of him but I won't.
