I was told by my local fish store that frozen formula one and frozen formula two foods are good for my yellow tang along with the usual seaweed on a clip. when I pop one of the frozen "meals" out of the container, do I dislove it first in some warm water or do I just drop the cube into the tank and let it disolve on its own?

Someone please help me understand how to feed my fish with these products.

I would put it in small cup of tank water, and let it defrost - break it up with a fork if needed. Then, add that to your tank. That's how I feed our homemade food.

HTH,

that's how i dissolve my foods too.. that way you don't need to use tap water to dissolve it and let all that chemical and stuff in your tank.. and oh yeah, it's good for the tang..
